Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is seeking a dynamic and innovative Agriculture Teacher for an anticipated opening beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction that supports students in developing agricultural knowledge, technical skills, and career readiness for pathways in agriculture, food systems, and natural resources.

Responsibilities Include:

Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned agricultural instruction.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Integrate academic, technical, and employability skills within agricultural coursework.
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to support student success.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, including laboratory and hands-on learning spaces.
Engage in continuous professional learning and reflective practice.

Required Qualifications:

New York State Certification in Agriculture Education (or appropriate related certification), required
Candidates who are eligible for NYS certification in the near future will be considered
Strong instructional, organizational, and classroom management skills
Commitment to innovation, collaboration, and student-centered learning
