About the Job
Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is seeking a dynamic and innovative Agriculture Teacher for an anticipated opening beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction that supports students in developing agricultural knowledge, technical skills, and career readiness for pathways in agriculture, food systems, and natural resources.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned agricultural instruction.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Integrate academic, technical, and employability skills within agricultural coursework.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to support student success.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, including laboratory and hands-on learning spaces.
  • Engage in continuous professional learning and reflective practice.

Required Qualifications:
  • New York State Certification in Agriculture Education (or appropriate related certification), required
  • Candidates who are eligible for NYS certification in the near future will be considered
  • Strong instructional, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to innovation, collaboration, and student-centered learning
