About the Job
The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is looking for a full-time Licensed Speech Language Pathologist and/or Certified Speech Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide services to students with disabilities in integrated settings. This is a 10-month position, following the school calendar, with an opportunity to work over the summer. Candidates looking for part-time work may also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Develop therapy and treatment plans for students with speech disorders.
- Implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
- Establish treatment goals and milestones with students.
- Update student progress to relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with communication disorders.
- Ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and patient demeanor.
